Data deletion and connections
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Disconnect a social-media platform
- Sign in to Creatorby Hub.
- Open Settings → Workspace.
- Select Disconnect account for the connected account and confirm.
Creatorby revokes access where technically supported by the platform and deletes the stored connection, including encrypted access and refresh tokens, platform account ID, profile name, username, profile-image reference, permissions, related analytics snapshots and publication data. For Instagram, stored comments, conversations and messages belonging to that connection are also deleted.
Drafts, text and uploaded media created in Creatorby may remain in the workspace independently of the connection. Disconnecting does not delete original posts on the external platform.
Revoke calendar access
Remove Creatorby in the security or app settings of your Google or Microsoft account. Creatorby will then be unable to perform further calendar actions. Calendar connection details and encrypted tokens are removed when the connection is deleted or, at the latest, when the account is deleted.
Events already created in Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook remain with the external provider. Delete them there if you do not want to keep them.
Export planner data and clear local data
In Execution Planner, you can export the full planner state as a JSON file or share it through the device share menu under Settings → Backups. Complete the export before deleting the account if you want to keep the data.
The offline state, remembered accounts, language, appearance and app cache may also be stored on your device. After sign-out or account deletion, the planner removes account-related local data where provided. You can clear any remaining site data at any time in the website or browser settings for planner.creatorby.app. You must delete any downloaded export or Recovery Kit file from your device yourself.
Delete your Creatorby account
- Sign in to Creatorby Execution Planner.
- Open Settings → Creatorby account.
- Select Delete account, enter delete to confirm and approve the permanent action.
This permanently removes the shared Creatorby sign-in and the Hub and Planner data linked to it. This includes in particular the planner state and encrypted Login Vault, workspace data, uploaded files, platform and calendar connections, push subscriptions and associated account metadata. The action cannot be undone.
Alternatively, request deletion through the contact form or by email to support@creatorby.com. We may verify your identity for security. Contract, payment or tax records subject to statutory retention duties may remain stored until the applicable period ends.
What remains with external providers
Deleting an account or connection at Creatorby does not delete posts, comments, messages or calendar events already transmitted to an external provider. Remove this content directly from the relevant provider. Copies you exported, shared or downloaded yourself are also not automatically deleted from your device or from recipients.
Revoke access at the platforms
- Google/YouTube/Google Calendar: Google account permissions
- Microsoft: open the app and consent settings of your Microsoft account and remove Creatorby.
- TikTok, Meta/Instagram/Facebook/Threads and Pinterest: open the security, apps or connected-services settings in the relevant platform account and remove Creatorby.
Revoking access at the platform prevents further access. Afterwards, delete the connection in Creatorby or the entire Creatorby account as needed.
